My name is Wout, nice to meet you!

I work at the crossroads of devops, cloud and data engineering. Living in the beautiful city of Antwerp, you might find me tinkering in my (sometimes) smart home and reading about technology.

I’m passionate about building data platforms that enable teams—whether data engineers, analysts, or data scientists—to collaborate effectively and make the most of their expertise. With a strong technical background and a knack for quickly mastering new tools like, I enjoy exploring innovative solutions and turning complexity into simple, config-driven frameworks.

Sharing these insights and lessons learned with others is key for me, as it helps teams adopt modern practices faster and move away from legacy systems. Ultimately, my goal is to create environments where people can work autonomously and deliver real business impact without getting bogged down in technical hurdles.
